Ordered in 1914 and referred to often as such, but titled as a 1915 it is the first 8 cylinder model that the Cadillac Motor Company built. The special 144-wheel base chassis has mounted on it a special body designed by W.J Moore and built by the C.P. Kimball Company of Chicago. It was often described as "a cozy living room on wheels." The car is a seven passenger touring sedan with a stationary rear seat, with the other four seats having the ability to slide back and forth and rotate in any direction. The rear seat and 2 center seats can even be arranged to form a bed. Behind the rear seat is a refrigerator with two electrical fans, of which take conditioned air from the refrigerator. A telephone was also mounted in the rear of the car. If at any time during his travels he was in need of making a phone call, the car was stopped near a telephone pole. From here he used an extendable pole to tap into to the phone line to connect. A car phone in the 1920's.... Ingenious.
